Logo Design
A logo is a flag, a signature – it represents a company
A logo should be be simple and versatile.
A logo doesn't sell, it identifies.
The role of the logo is to point, to designate—in as simple a manner as possible. A design that is complex, like a fussy illustration or complicated photographic image, will not work as an effective logo. Simple ideas, as well as simple designs, work best. A logo should be attractive, reproducible in one color, and should be able to be recognizable in exceedingly small sizes.

Logos aren't just designs, they are visual symbols. Every part of a logo should symbolize the company -- the colors, the meaning, the fonts, the shapes, the feeling. Logos are an impression of a company.
