GD2 Point Line and Plane

Point Line Plane
For your ten iterations created by hand, you will first be doing a drawing exercise. Pick FIVE objects you would like to explore, based on our discussions about iterations. You will draw each of those objects a minimum of FIVE times, exploring point, line and plane. I'm not looking for you to draw each object in five different positions. You can obviously use different positions, but what I really looking for is for you to explore each object in five different ways using point line and plane.

Why are we doing this?  Understand, it's not about you creating the same object with different views. More like, creating different interpretations of the object.

When you force yourself to analyze objects and break them down into their basic components, you begin to realize what is necessary to include in order to create a representation of that object. In this exercise, you will be creating iterations that focus on Point, Line and Plane.

In the images below, how has "point" been used? As a location marker? As a texture? As value?

In the images below, how has "line" been used? As a way to show direction? To show emotion? As a texture? As value? As a way to create a shape or structure?

In the images below, how has "plane" been used? As a way to create a surface? As a way to show dimension? As a way to show something that is filled in? As a way to show that something is hollow?

In the images below, try to identify how each picture is using point, line, plane, or a combination of them.

How do these examples below also use point, line and plane to show meaning?
