- Try not to have everything so spread out. Words and lines of text like to have "friends." The more spaced out text is, the less "connected" it feels to other parts of your design.
- Pay attention to your space -- does it feel balanced? Remember, balance is about visual weight. You could explore symmetrical balance, asymmetrical balance, or radial balance.
- Utilize your "image>duplicate" function if you feel like you are at an ok point, but you want to explore more.
- It's not unheard of to do a project 2 or 3 times until you get it right. That's part of learning -- don't fight it!
After you establish your layout, now explore your COLOR. Now that you have learned about color harmonies, you will be able to understand how to use the Adobe Color Themes extension in Photoshop. This will allow you to explore various color themes/harmonies easily. Don't forget -- you can always extend a color scheme to include more colors.
To access, go to Window>Extensions>Adobe Color Themes

D. Enter a name for your color theme
E. Adjust the color under the available color systems
F. Choose a color
G. Choose a color rule
H. Add the color theme to the Swatches panel
