Your CREATIVE DESIGN PROCESS for this (and every project) should be as follows:
1. Research. Find information
2. Brainstorm ideas (first written, then visual by creating thumbnail sketches.). Come up with at least 5-10 sketches with possible ideas. Your sketching should focus heavily on your concept (idea) and your layout, but does not have to be intricate.
3. Design. Pick your best 2-3 ideas and start to create them digitally.
4. Revise. Try variations of this design. Get feedback. Figure out what works, and what doesn't.

Here are two flyers that the organizers of this event received to promote it. They said they didn't like them very much. Let's see if we can determine what they didn't like about these designs.
