The team at Abby Ryan Design has come up with an interesting chart that shows the most popular toys over the past 50 years. Some of these toys include Twister, the iconic Rubik’s cube and Star Wars figurines, but over the years children have been asking for more electronic toys like iPads and the WiiU.

Some art is extraordinarily delicate work, and it's rare to see a form as delicate as that done with these leaves. The work by Nature's Art is amazing -- it is a 6-step process to manually remove a leaf's surface to produce a scene. You can just imagine how steady an artist's hands have to be to accomplish this kind of work. he leaves are washed and then boiled until they're pliant enough to spread across a board. It is then carved, pressed, dried and framed.

Wisconsin-based fiber artist, Molly Evans, put some lovely sunshiny cheer in the paths of pedestrians with her ‘Lionel Stitchie’ street art project. Armed with yellow yarn and a tag gun, she stitched snippets of Richie’s famous lyrics onto discarded pieces of furniture that she found on the streets. Her project was “born out of a love for the breakups with our furniture,” addressing the fleeting relationships people have with their furniture, and how they symbolize different phases in life. Her whimsical cursive writing gave sad pieces of furniture a voice—specifically, Lionel Richie’s feel-good croon—and we’re sure they made even the grumpiest neighbor smile.
