INSTRUCTIONS: iTunes Storefront

For the final part of this assignment, you are going to create an iTunes Storefront that uses elements from your album artwork. To make it easier, I am giving you a template to work from so you can concentrate on how you can creatively incorporate the elements of your album design. You can bring in new elements, just make sure that they have a similar look to your album cover. I am looking for you to make a storefront that compliments or "matches" your album cover using colors, patterns, shapes, lines, textures, etc.

Bring your album artwork into your iTunes Storefront file. To do this, save your Album Artwork as a .jpg. To save your album artwork as a .jpg:
  • Save your file as you normally would (<---super important!)
  • Then go to File>Save As
  • Find the "Format" dropdown menu and select "JPEG" and click "Save"
  • On the next screen, put the quality at "12"
Then in Photoshop, go to File>Open and find the .jpg file that you just saved. Drag the image that opens into Photoshop.

Creating a .jpg essentially saves your file as a photograph so you can easily bring your artwork into your iTunes Storefront and place it in the top left corner.

Here are some examples of iTunes Storefronts. Check out how the designers incorporated SIMILAR elements (colors, patterns, shapes, lines, textures, etc.) from the album artwork design into the storefront.
