NAHS: Personal Labels

For this assignment, you will be making PERSONAL LABELS. Your design must start with a circular shape.

I'm not asking you to "invent" a fictional company for yourself. Rather, I want you to create a visual representation of yourself. What would that include? If someone asks you to describe yourself, what kinds of things would you include? How would you use this logo/label to communicate information about you?

You can include things like:

Name

Activities

Personality Traits

Physical Characteristics

Personal Motto / Quote

Preferences
Favorite Things

Age

Interests

History / Origin / Culture

You must include at least THREE things about yourself in your design.

You also must determine a PURPOSE for your logo/label. We have supplies in the lab you could use such as adhesive (sticker) paper, magnetic paper, cardstock (thick paper), laminated paper. etc.
Some ideas might include:

An identifying laptop sticker. It could also be a guitar case sticker, skateboard sticker, etc.
A label to identify things that belong to you
A travel sticker
A watermark for pictures you post on social media
A bumper sticker for your car
A tag to hang from things you make
A badge for a group you belong to

Step 1: RESEARCH

Since your design will be a circular shape, start with some research of things that can be designed within a circle. Start a pinterest page and search on pinterest OR google for examples. If you haven't already, download this browser extension which will allow you to find and "pin" images from Google. Here is a video on how to use the"pinit" button once you have installed it.
