For Valentine’s Day this year, graphic design duo Eurydyka Kata and Rafal Szczawinski from re:design studio decided to remake 14 popular book covers. Using the motif of a heart as the center of composition, they gave 14 different classical books and pulp romance novels new book covers, with the theme of eternal love. Just for fun.

Quilling
Quilling is the art of creating decorative designs from thin strips of curled paper. Indian artist and typographer and quiller Sabeena Karnik has created a gorgeous 3D typeface using strips of colorful paper. Specializing in paper sculpturing and acrylic murals, Karnik is no stranger to being hands-on with her art—in particular, she is dedicated to exploring the “endless possibilities of paper.” Using elegant swirls and floral motifs to embellish her letters, she has produced a complete set of 26 paper-made letters for the English alphabet.

UK-based autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire is endowed with the amazing gift of a photographic memory, which enables him to produce these incredibly detailed drawings of cities after observing them for just a short time. The talented artist, one of the most renowned in the UK today, has drawn complex and remarkably accurate representations of bustling cities—from Dubai to Shanghai—purely from his memory alone. Wiltshire is also the first artist to be invited to The View from The Shard—Western Europe’s tallest building—to capture London’s constantly changing skyline. Watch the artist reproduce the New York City’s skyline on paper in the video below, after flying over the city in a helicopter for just a few hours.
