Rebranding American Airlines
American Airlines has unveiled a new brand identity with the help of advertising agency Futurebrand.
The classic 1968 Massimo Vignelli logo has been replaced with a 3D ‘flight’ symbol’ that features an eagle in red, white and blue—reflecting the airline’s “passion for progress and the soaring spirit, which is uniquely American.”According to chief commercial officer at American Airlines Virasb Vahidi, he said, “Our core colors—red, white and blue have been updated to reflect a more vibrant and welcoming spirit. Our new flight symbol, an updated eagle, incorporates the many icons that people have come to associate with American, include the ‘A’ and the star.”This is the first time in more than 40 years that the airline updated its logo, and the brand is expected to promote its new look through an advertising campaign.

When It's Too Cold to Make Crop Circles...
No, this isn’t the result of aliens wishing us a happy holiday—it’s trampled snow art by Simon Beck at the Les Arcs ski resort in France. Beck is able to create these elaborate snowflake designs thanks to his years of experience in competitive orienteering. Each design takes him anywhere from 6 hours to 2 days to complete.
